About Us

Family Service Agency exists to strengthen people and communities through healing, mentoring, and social engagement.

Where We Were

Since 1956, Family Service Agency has been providing counseling and other essential services to Dekalb County.

We are among the oldest, private nonprofit organizations in the area, and our programs have grown and adapted to Changing community needs over the past half-century.

Where We Are

Family Service Agency serves as an “umbrella agency” of four distinct community programs: Youth Mentoring, Children’s Advocacy Center, Center for Counseling, and Senior Services.

We organize the efforts of many local agencies to provide the best care possible to our community.

Where We're Going

Family Service Agency strives to continually meet the ever-changing needs of the community.

Our long-term goal is to become a national leader with other community agencies and services, through cooperation, coordination, and partnerships.
