The Center for Counseling is the foundational program of Family Service Agency. Licensed clinicians are on-site to provide therapy in the following (non-exclusive) subjects: Abuse, ADD/ADHD, Aging Concerns, Anxiety, Parenting, Co-Parenting, Divorce, Depression, Grief and Loss, LGBT Concerns, Life Transitions, PTSD, Stress, Trauma.

Additionally, the clinicians can also provide: trauma assessments for the Children’s Advocacy Center, divorce mediations, family and post-affair counseling and in-home counseling for seniors. Our services are covered by most insurance providers, and financial assistance is also available. 

We will attempt to meet your needs, to the best of our ability.  If we are unable to provide the services that you need, we will suggest referrals to you.

Upon calling to schedule your first appointment, please be prepared to provide (at minimum):

  • Name/s, date/s of birth, reason for seeking counseling, and insurance information.
    (If you do not have insurance, financial assistance is available and will be discussed with you.)
  • Please bring a photo ID, copy and/or insurance card (if applicable), and intake paperwork to your appointment.
    (Intake paperwork can either be completed on site, by arriving 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, or by printing off the documents.)
